ROMA 2020 presents a series of projects and associations working to improve the situation of the Roma. Media that offer the ethnic group its own space are presented, and an artists' platform covers the areas of literature, visual arts, music and films.

The Burgenland Adult Education Centers are quality-assured, non-profit adult education institutions that are funded by public authorities. They represent a comprehensive educational concept that combines general, political, cultural and professional continuing education and training.

The publishing company Edition “Lex Liszt 12” was founded in 1992 in the Offenes Haus Oberwart (OHO) with the aim of contributing to the development of a lively literary and cultural scene in Burgenland. Since then, it has been trying to fulfill this aspiration through its work and program.

The aim of the association “Roma Service” is to promote, preserve and document the culture of Burgenland Roma. The preservation of the “Roman”, the Romani dialect of Burgenland Roma, is at the core of its activities. Roma Service is thus addressing an area that is of great importance for the future of the ethnic group.

“K.B.K. – Kultur.Bildung.Kunst” is a non-profit organization that acts as a hub for other associations and institutions in the fields of culture, education and art, as well as functioning as an advertising agency.

The task of the “Roma pastoral” care of the Diocese of Eisenstadt is to take care of the pastoral and social aspects of the Roma community and to remember the numerous victims of the past.

Romano Centro was founded in 1991 as one of the first Roma associations in Austria. Roma from different groups are represented at Romano Centro, working together to improve their living conditions and fight discrimination. Its activities focus on school mediation, education and cultural events.

The association was founded in 2004 with the aim of promoting the music of the Austrian and Central European Roma and Sinti living here and of bringing their culture and history to a wider audience.
